Thanks so much Hannah, I really appreciate that! I was hoping this recipe would be equally great with lamb, beef, or a mixture of the two.

You know, I’m not sure I’ve ever made baba ganoush! But, I’m going to add it to my ideas list 🙂

It took me 4 months to make these with lamb, and they are amaing! I made them with just beef a few times, and those are pretty good too.

If you’re accepting recipe requests, I would really like a baba ganoush tutorial. I’m not sure if I’m roasting the eggplant wrong or what, but mine does not taste as good as the restaurants.

These were sooooooo tasty! I think you are beginning to master the Mediterranean flavor profile. And the butter lettuce was a great vehicle for all of that flavor – they were little cups of yummy!

Butter lettuce!
I actually just made a PF Changs copycat lettuce wraps recipe yesterday, from another blogger, and they used butter lettuce. We bought it – is it a new type of lettuce? It was pretty interesting – the roots were still in the package.
