Hi Susan! I must say, this was the BEST burger I’ve had in a very long time. I think it was the cilantro mayo more than anything. Colby Jack cheese would work great.

]]> By: Susan https://foxeslovelemons.com/avocado-burger/#comment-169967 Fri, 18 Aug 2023 20:18:39 +0000 https://foxeslovelemons.com/?p=40732#comment-169967 Ooh, Lori, you really got me with this one.  I just got some Criollo beef (don’t worry if you’ve never heard of it – it’s a desert thing), and was going to make plain hamburgers, so we could really get the flavor of the beef (it’s new to us).  But adding avocado and cilantro mayo…  absolute genius, in my opinion.  I would probably add a bit of lime juice to the mayo because I’ve done that before and like it that way.  Would also use colby/jack cheese, because we don’t go for heat any more.  How could anyone go wrong with this combination???  Even though I want to taste my new meat, I’m not thrilled with totally plain burgers, so the idea of adding some of my favorite ingredients makes me very happy.
