Estia has the best lemon rice soup that I’ve had in the area. My father-in-law is Greek, makes soup from scratch. So I’m a bit picky. The soup from estia is consistently delicious! Love this

I just remember it had a weird taste, and I think it was too lemony. I’m looking forward to trying out Estia though, have you been? It’s at Maple (15 Mile) and Coolidge.

Yum. I’m not really a fan of olives in general, so I’d skip the croutons. I love chicken + lemon soup, but the last one I had was at Kalamata Grill (in Troy) and was way too lemony for my taste. There’s another new-ish place called Estia in Troy too, that I want to try, and maybe their soup will be good … and meanwhile I will try this recipe too 🙂 thanks!
