The options are limitless with these Individual Charcuterie Cups. Grab some plastic cups and load them up with meat, cheese, fruit and all sorts of garnishes. Perfect for holidays and game day!

DIY Charcuterie Cup Ideas

All the way from a Thanksgiving charcuterie board to a charcuterie chalet and many stops in between, there’s no denying that this time of year is perfect for as many fun charcuterie board ideas as you can dream up.

Whether you’re entertaining a crowd with a wine and cheese board or just having some snacks at home, this type of food is probably at its most popular during the holidays, so you can have a cranberry rosemary cocktail or grapefruit mule in one hand, and a snack in the other!

And sure, I’ve already done jarcuterie, and I know you’re thinking that this charcuterie in a cup really isn’t much different. And you’re right – it’s not! I’m just publishing these mini charcuterie cups to give you even more inspiration for single serving charcuterie this holiday season.

Delight all the goblins and ghouls with this Halloween Charcuterie Board, full of cheese, cured meat, crackers, fruit, nuts, and all kinds of little treats!

Halloween charcuterie board filled with cheeses, meats, pumpkins, crackers, nuts, fruits and sweets.

This Halloween Cheese Board is perfect for your Halloween Party

Halloween is definitely one of the most beloved holidays in our household. My husband goes all out with yard decorations, I plan our family Halloween costume months in advance, and our daughter is in it for the candy, of course.

I’ve already done an extensive post on Halloween food ideas (and Halloween deviled eggs, too!). But when you combine my love for Halloween with my love for fun charcuterie board ideas, I couldn’t resist a Halloween board dedicated to charcuterie and cheese.

And if breakfast charcuterie and charcuterie chalets are things, then a Halloween charcuterie board is also most definitely a thing.

I love a unique charcuterie board idea! Equal parts cute and creepy, let me walk you through how I built this spooky appetizer tray. And don’t forget a batch of Halloween bark or Halloween cake pops for dessert!

Cheese Board Burger - A big juicy burger piled high with gooey brie, fig preserves and pickled red onions. | foxeslovelemons.com

I’ll be honest – making it through a long Michigan winter can be tough. Even when we have a mild winter as far as snow and brutally cold temperatures, there never seems to be much sunshine. It’s gray day after gray day, and it definitely gets me down sometimes.

But in the last few years, I’ve decided to STOP letting winter get the best of me. With the help of some extra Vitamin D, I’ve decided to show winter who’s boss.

Staying inside under a blanket, with the oven on all winter? I don’t need to do that. Stop bullying me, Mother Nature!

Autumn Cheese Board with Ginger Pickled Figs - An easy entertaining spread that celebrates fall's bounty! | foxeslovelemons.com

Hi hi hi! I made us another option for my list of charcuterie ideas. I’ve been absolutely obsessed with early fall produce lately. It’s not quite time for sweet dumpling squash and pumpkin yet, but it IS time for figs and concord grapes!

If you’ve never tried a fresh fig before, I would recommend you hightail it to your local fig purveyor, buy yourself one, and give it a try. I used to think I hated figs, but that was probably because I had one bad fig, one time.

The figs this year (they’re in season right now!) are awesome, and they’re my temporary favorite food until further notice.

If you do indeed decide that you like figs, Step 2 would be to make a batch of my Ginger Pickled Figs. And then build an autumn cheese board (or even a Halloween meat and cheese tray or jarcuterie), like so:

Fig & Spiced Goat Cheese Tart - A "dessert" for all the cheese lovers out there. Ripe figs are piled into a flaky crust on top of sweet and savory spiced goat cheese, then topped with honey and pistachios. | foxeslovelemons.com

If you’ve been reading this blog for awhile, you know that I would ALWAYS choose a cheese course over a dessert. With the except of maaaaaaaaybe key lime pie flew in from the freaking Florida Keys, if a cheese course is an option rather than dessert, I’m going with the cheese.

I guess I kind of break the mold that way. But in fact, in many countries around the world, meals are finished with a bit of cheese instead of something sweet.

Ricotta & Fig Oatmeal - A unique 5 minute breakfast that is the perfect way to use up leftover ricotta cheese! | foxeslovelemons.com

When was the last time you used an entire tub of ricotta cheese at once? Unless we’re talking about lasagna, that answer is pretty much never in my household.

But ricotta is just too delicious to let go unused, so I’m always trying to think of new ways to use it up.

One of my favorite ways is cannoli dip. But this morning, I thought “why not stir some ricotta into oatmeal?”

Prosciutto & Fig Cheeseball Bites - A simple, fun party bite that can be adapted to use whatever ingredients you have on hand! | foxeslovelemons.com

I’m sure that many people consider cheeseballs “old school” or “retro.” I’d agree that they’re probably both of those things. But really, I think they’re a holiday traditionAlong with my family’s sour cream sugar cookie recipe and homemade Chex mix, it’s just not Christmas without a cheeseball. My grandma had been in charge of holiday cheeseballs for years, until she announced last year that it would be her last year making them. She handed out her recipes for them and called it quits.

I mean, I really don’t blame her. When I’m grandma-aged, I’m probably not going to be cooking anything around the holidays. I’ll let other people cook for me while I sip sherry or something. I don’t even know what sherry is. It just sounds like something an old lady would drink, right?
